Watch the television or listen to the radio for the latest weather announcements in your area and make your decision before leaving for an APA Pool Match! There will be NO FORFEITS due to 'no shows' because of inclement weather! If only one or two players from each team show up at the match site, yes - you can play those matches. You will be provided time to make up any / all unplayed matches!

Welcome to the Connecticut APA

Everyone Can Play, Anyone Can Win!   Talk to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers. You'll find that they either play in the APA or know someone who does. It'll surprise you! Clerks, secretaries, janitors, lawyers, chiropractors, doctors, waitresses, truck drivers, bank tellers, and even school teachers ... all play pool in the APA Pool League. Over one fourth of APA members are female.

You must be at least 18 years of age in order to be a member of the APA.  Some host locations in the APA of CT do not allow anyone under the age of 21.  Members between the ages of 18 and 20 are not allowed to play in these locations – and teams should build a roster that supports being able to play in host locations without having to rely on underage players.

You must create your account to access them.

Go to members.poolplayers.com and click on Claim Your Account. On the next page, enter the information requested. Be sure to type your entire 8-digit member number and your name exactly as it is on your membership card.  You will be asked to create a username, a forum name, and a password.  Then type in your email address and your mother’s maiden name for security. (Be sure to set any email spam blockers to allow mail from poolplayers.com.)  An email with a link will be sent to the email address you provide.  Click on the link and the setup process will be complete.

Register Your Team for Spring Posted: 12/08/2011 09:51:01 AM The Early Bird Deadline for the Spring 2012 session is December 16th.  Make sure your team is registered by the 16th to be eligible for a FREE* Session of dues (*teams in payback leagues will need to contribute the $10 weekly to prize-fund).

Good Sportsmanship Posted: 06/09/2011 11:33:58 AM This past weekend one our teams showed us what good sportsmanship is all about.  Katie Jaye, captain  of The Galley Crew was scheduled to play Ricardo Guilbert's team, L.O.D. at Big Shots.  Players from the L.O.D. team had car trouble and were broken down on their way to the tournament.  Katie Jaye left th tournament center and picked up the stranded players from her opposing team.  We just wanted to take the time to appreciate the good sportsmanship that the Galley Crew team displayed.
